Our carefully designed programmes transform the way children and teenagers think about money, savings, and their financial future. Because understanding money early changes everything.
Start Their JourneyMost adults wish they had learned about money earlier. We are changing that story for the next generation of Edinburgh's young people.
Financial literacy is not taught adequately in schools. Yet money touches every aspect of adult life: career choices, relationships, mental wellbeing, and the ability to pursue dreams. We believe children deserve better preparation.
Our Edinburgh-based programmes bridge this gap with engaging, age-appropriate lessons that make financial concepts accessible and even exciting. Whether your child is eight or seventeen, we meet them where they are and build understanding that lasts a lifetime.
Discover our approachResearch consistently shows that financial habits form during childhood. Children who learn about money management early are significantly more likely to save regularly, avoid debt traps, and make informed financial decisions as adults.
The conversations around pocket money, saving goals, and spending choices create neural pathways that influence behaviour for decades. Our structured approach ensures these lessons stick.
Forget dry textbooks and abstract theories. Our sessions use real-world scenarios, interactive exercises, and discussions that resonate with young people's actual experiences. We talk about saving for a gaming console, understanding why things cost what they do, and making choices when resources are limited.
Our daughter used to spend every penny she received. After just six weeks in the programme, she is actively saving for university and asks thoughtful questions about our family finances. The transformation has been remarkable.
Structured programmes designed for different ages and learning objectives
An engaging introduction to money concepts through games, stories, and hands-on activities. Children learn about earning, saving, and making smart choices with their pocket money.
Building financial confidence through budgeting exercises, goal-setting workshops, and understanding how banks, interest, and the economy work. Practical skills for the real world.
An advanced course covering investment fundamentals, stock markets, compound interest, and building long-term wealth. Participants manage a simulated portfolio throughout the programme.
A weekend session where parents and children learn together. Strengthen family communication about money while building shared financial goals and understanding.
Tailored sessions addressing specific needs, whether preparing for university finances, addressing money anxieties, or accelerating financial learning at any pace.
We do not simply lecture children about saving money. Our methodology combines behavioural psychology, gamification, and real-world application to create lasting change in how young people relate to finances.
Every session includes practical exercises. Younger children might run a classroom shop to understand pricing and making change. Teenagers might analyse real company stocks or create budgets for hypothetical life scenarios. The learning is always active, never passive.
